A Sparkly Anniversary
Fragrance House Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge 540 was created by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian in 2014 in celebration of the crystal manufacturer’s 250th birthday. Since its release, it has become a worldwide success and a top 10 seller in the US.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian was brought to life by co-creators Marc Chaya, CEO and Francis Kurkdjian, artistic director in 2009. Baccarat Rouge 540, with its unique olfactory signature, is an exemplar of Kurkdjian’s ability to capture “lightning in a bottle,” officials said. Clear crystal gradually fuses with 24-karat gold powder at 540 degrees Celsius and turns bright red.
