C+K has presented its new products for the first half of 2020, which are designed to make work in skin testing easier and faster. The new C+K probe generation includes the Tewameter TM Hex together with new software for all C+K probes (MPA CTplus).
Tewameter TM Hex
This device offers an assessment of Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL). 30 sensors inside the probe “see” relative humidity and temperature like a camera and express the result with speed, accuracy and reproducibility.
The high amount of data allows the user not only to accurately measure inside the probe but show results also for the areas right outside probe, namely skin surface and ambience above the probe. Thus, new parameters, like local skin energy balance divided into evaporation cooling and heat diffusion and others, may give insights in several research fields.
New Software for the C+K Probe Family
This new software MPA CTplus is a step forward into a modern use of the C+K probe family and offers a variety of new, convenient features.
For the first time, Cutometer, all other C+K probes and the ambient condition sensor RHT 100 can be operated in one software easily and conveniently. The software works with any MPA system and Cutometer Dual MPA 580 as well as Multi Display devices (MDD) and supports several devices at the same time.
Cutometer in the New Software MPA CTplus
The new cutometer is designed for precision and ease of use compared to other elasticity measurement methods. Now, you can see the results of each measurement instantly next to it, export the results and curve data of a complete study directly to Exel, open different measurements side by side to compare the details visually, and more.
