Grant Introduces Gransil SiW Series

Dramatically enhance the sensory perception during payout and play of the beauty care product.

Grant Industries has launched Gransil SiW Series, the next progression of Silicone-in-Water (SiW) performance dispersions developed for modern beauty care products. The series is designed for application in skin care, sun care, color cosmetics and hair care. All products are water-miscible and provide energy savings when used in a cold process, although heat is acceptable if the formula requires it, according to Grant Industries.

“We systematically used a minimalist approach and developed a proprietary process that does away with the sensory drawbacks associated with traditional emulsifier-based silicone concentrates,” said Thomas Hrubec, director of R&D, Grant Industries. “The featured Gransil SiW products for skin and cosmetics will dramatically enhance the sensory perception during payout and play of the beauty care product. The final product transitions to a sophisticated, powdery feel, with a soft-focus appearance, which enables a brand to stand out from the competition.”
