JAPAN: Aivita Biomedical, Inc., a biotech company specializing in innovative stem cell applications, has “significantly” expanded distribution of its skin care products via additional sales channels in Japan. The expanded distribution will place its Root of Skin product line on the shelves of 9,300 beauty and lash salons, and within a Japanese online platform that currently sells cosmetics.
“Root of Skin is a truly disruptive technology with a mission that has never before existed in the aesthetics sector,” said Dr. Hans Keirstead, Aivita CEO. “These new distribution channels, in such a premier market, enable revenue projections that ensure our mission will be realized.”
Last month, Aivita executed a partnership with the global multichannel marketing company Guthy-Renker to promote the products worldwide.
