Alcora is the corporation behind Monat. Monat’s top markets in 2022 were the US, Canada and Europe, including the UK. The company continues to expand its reach globally. In 2021 it launched in Australia, Spain and Lithuania. In late 2022, Monat added New Zealand. In April 2023, France was added to the roster.

“Following the successful launch in certain European countries, we know the time is right to expand into France and build on the self-confidence and financial well-being business model we’re becoming known for. Our extensive research has shown us that France has strong potential to both embrace our business program and ensure another successful expansion,” Tamila Kerimova, SVP and GM for Monat Europe, said in a statement.

Earlier this year Monat donated more than $90,000 in net profits from the sales of its More than a Lather by Monat body cleansing bars. The funds benefit nonprofit organizations thatcenter on children, education and families—core giving pillars of the Monat Gratitude Foundation.

In other philanthropy news, more than 200 volunteers from Monat’s network of independent distributors helped build more than 30 bikes for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada during Monat’s annual Reunion event in Las Vegas. Reunion attendees also collected 1,000 gently used handbags to donate to local nonprofits serving women and girls, including Dress for Success Southern Nevada, HopeLink of Southern Nevada, and Project 150. Monat Gratitude Foundation included travel-sized products and gratitude notes in each bag.

In October 2023, Monat was named the world’s No.1 direct seller of premium hair care by Euromonitor.

In April 2024, Monat Global Corp forged a strategic agreement with network marketing thought leader Eric Worre. The Growth Alliance kicked off with a February call series focused on guiding Monat market partners in the US and its markets around the world to achieve its first career path rank-up to managing market partner. Through the rest of the year, Worre will provide Monat Market Partners with expert coaching to support them in continually growing their businesses.

The funds benefit nonprofit organizations in the three areas of children, education and families, which are the core giving pillars of Monat’s philanthropic entity, the Monat Gratitude Foundation.

“I firmly believe in the power and importance of investing in our youth,” said Lu Urdaneta, who is Monat’s chief culture officer and CEO of Monat Gratitude Foundation. “By donating funds to programs that support their growth and development, we are not only shaping the future of our communities but also creating opportunities for a better world. Through these efforts, we’re able to help empower the next generation to reach their full potential.”

L’Eudine, Monat and Project Beauty brands fall under Alcora, a privately-held corporation run by the Urdaneta family. The Miami-based company also includes B&R Products Inc., which runs an FDA-registered, 210,000- square-foot manufacturing plant and warehouse space.

Monat Gratitude, the company’s philanthropic foundation, recently helped five Florida college-bound seniors from William H. Turner Technical Arts High School with four-year Florida pre-paid scholarships of more than $25,000 each in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami (BBBSM). The students were selected through Monat’s participation in BBBSM’s School to Work mentoring program.

Monat Gratitude has given more than $7 million since it was founded in 2014, with more than $3 million in 2021 alone. Giving back to the community comes from the top down; CEO Rayner Urdaneta was named one of the Twelve Good Men by Ronald McDonald House Charities in South Florida last year.

Alcora is the parent company for a wide range of beauty and personal care brands, including Monat, Hairgurt, L’Eudine and Pardon My Pretty.

Monat is growing its business with a new collection that takes the inside route to improving one’s overall health and appearance. The Doral, FL-based firm rolled out a wellness assortment this year—a collection of powders, mixes and supplements focused around energy, digestion, beauty and sleep.

The latest launch follows on the heels of Monat’s successful expansion into skin care in 2019. The result is a collection that addresses concepts from energy to sleep as well as products that are designed to help skin, hair and nails, too.

For skin, hair and nails, Monat created Collagen Key, a vegan collagen-building support product in powder form that is formulated to fit with the company’s ingredient philosophy.

Additional SKUs that benefit skin include a drink mix called Monat Total Greens, billed as a superfood boost with a full spectrum of antioxidant-rich fruit and vegetable powders and dietary fiber to support energy, immune health and glowing skin, and Balance, a pre- and pro-biotic supplement that has dual-layer capsule technology and supports healthy digestion, immune and skin health.

In other news, Monat has expanded its repertoire with products for the modern gentleman with Monat for Men skin care, a new skin-focused trio of essentials aimed to be easy to use, while delivering tangible results.
