With the pandemic forcing folks to stay in, consumers are making their homes as comfy as possible, and that’s good news for Luminex, which calls itself the largest candle maker in the US.
Even before COVID-19 brought much of the US to a standstill, things were bright at Luminex, which grew market share 15% during the past year. Due to the substantial increase, Luminex’s candle plant in Leesburg, OH is expanding its workforce by adding a third shift. The current facility employs more than 650 employees, and the extra shift, which began this Spring, will create 65 new full-time jobs.
