Everybody loves lists—including the organizers of In-Cosmetics, the largest cosmetic ingredient tradeshow in the world. To celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, organizers asked the industry to submit nominees for a Liifetime Achievement Award.
Well, the nominations have been counted and the shortlist for the In-Cosmetics 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award are: Dr. Alain Khaiat, Dr. Karl Lintner, Dr. Daniel Maes and Dr. Johann Wiechers. A winner will be determined via a public vote at: www.in-cosmetics.com/award
According to organizers, nominations came in from all corners of the globe but it was these four individuals who stood out and have been chosen for their outstanding professional accomplishments and dedication to the field of cosmetic science.
“The number of nominations we received for the award was astounding and it was great to see how many inspiring individuals are respected within this industry," said Richard Hesk, group exhibition director. "All of the finalists have clearly earned their place to be shortlisted and the public now have a very tough job to decide the overall winner. We’re incredibly excited about the ceremony that will take place to announce the winner, at In-Cosmetics in Paris on April 14 and we hope it will give the chosen person the recognition and thanks they deserve.“
