Essential Ingredients will distribute Sophim's line of olive squalane and other natural ingredients throughout the US and Canada. “We are honored that Sophim has entrusted us as their distribution channel partner in the United States and Canada. At Essential Ingredients, expanding our product offering with natural, high-performing, functional ingredients that meet market trends are critical in allowing us to better serve our customers,” said April Yeager, SVP/GM, Essential Ingredients. “We are excited to be able to offer this portfolio to our North American customers, and we look forward to building a strong, lasting relationship with the team at Sophim for years to come.” Sophim is a family-owned company located in the south of France that manufactures natural cosmetic ingredients. Specializing in oleochemistry, Sophim is an expert in olive squalane production, in addition to other natural ingredients manufactured from olive. Sophim is a reference partner for the manufacture of natural, cosmetic products, certified or approved by Cosmos. Its core business is based on the expertise of innovative distillation, esterification and hydrogenation processes, which enable the company to offer ingredients of unique quality. Phytosqualan, its flagship ingredient, is in line with circular economy and upcycling, according to Sophim. “Our distributors are experts in their markets.
