In the age of “snatched,” (thank you, Paris Hilton who helped popularize beauty’s biggest buzzword) skincare lovers care about putting their best face forward. And that means keeping skin firm, and well, snatched.

While a natural decline in collagen due to age is to blame for skin’s loss of elasticity, beauty enthusiasts want that like they want a red lump on their nose. Per the analysts at Spate, these two skin concerns are trending Google searches among the beauty obsessed.

Help for Foul Sagging Jowls

Per Spate, saggy skin spiked 168.7% in searches compared to last year. Some of the top searches include at-home treatment for sagging jowls and best treatment for sagging jowls. Analysts encourage brands to consider releasing products specifically targeting this area, marketed as jowl treatments. Additionally, there is a high interest in best non-surgical treatment for sagging neck and jowls, indicating a market opportunity for non-invasive, at-home solutions. Brands could capitalize on this demand for non-surgical, less invasive treatments.

Nose Bumps Begone

Nose bumps are experiencing a 70.3% growth in searches compared to last year. It’s important to note that bumps is an umbrella term, as consumers aim to decipher the nature of these bumps. Analysts say this is evident from search queries like bumps on nose not acne, white bump inside of nose, red bumps on nose and bumps on nose, not pimples.

Spate says this data presents an opportunity for brands to educate consumers about the different types of nose bumps – whether related to acne or not. Analysts say brands can address this growing need by offering products and solutions that target various types of bumps, not just those caused by acne.
