Terracycle Partners With Supermarkets for Recycling Program for Hair and Skin Care Products

For a limited time, Giant Food, Martin’s, Giant Food Stores and Stop & Shop shoppers can help donate garden beds and benches to local communities by sending in Gold Bond, Cortizone 10 and Selsun Blue product packaging to be recycled by TerraCycle. The products are all part of Sanofi US's OTC business.

Prospective participants can request a free shipping label through any of the above program pages and mail in Gold Bond, Cortizone 10 and Selsun Blue product packaging to be recycled. Once collected, the packaging is cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remolded to make new recycled products.

“Partnerships like this one, that display the collaboration between multiple retailers and brands, underscore the sustainability efforts being made by a variety of industries,” said TerraCycle CEO and Founder Tom Szaky. “We are proud to partner with these forward-thinking companies to offer consumers a valuable selection of recycling solutions for a range of products, furthering our mission to reimagine waste.”

Giant Food, Martin’s, Giant and Stop & Shop are committed to sustainability through their sourcing of a wide array of certified sustainable products including commodities like seafood, coffee, cocoa, tea and more while promoting regenerative agriculture.

Consumers can recycle the packaging through December 31.

The program is currently open to any interested individual, school, office or community organization. Go here to learn more about Terracycle’s others recycling programs.
