Sustainable Personal Care Brand sk*p Enters Ulta Beauty Stores

Founders start road trip to more than 100 stores to educate consumers about its haircare and skincare formulas sold in paper cartons.

Personal care brand sk*p, which sells its haircare and skincare products in shower-friendly, fully recyclable paper packaging, is making its entry into Ulta.com and more than 700 Ulta stores nationwide.

Ulta Beauty is the first retailer to sell hair and body care products packaged in sk*p’s fully recyclable paper BeautyCarton, its proprietary packaging.

Full expansion into all 1,300 Ulta Beauty locations will roll out Q3 2022, according to the brand, which will be part of Conscious Beauty at Ulta Beauty. Additionally, New York City-based sk•p will be included in Sparked, a curated assortment of emerging beauty brands entering retail for the first time.

Also this month, sk*p will kick off a nationwide initiative asking consumers to make the “sk*p Swap “trading in their plastic beauty bottle for the brand's BeautyCarton. Throughout the months of April and May, sk*p will be taking the brand on the road to educate consumers on its mission, formulas, and packaging .For six weeks, founders April Hardwick and Mark Veeder will be visit more then 100 Ulta Beauty stores in key regions around the US.
